Boo-boos

Poor little Owen has had his share of boo-boos lately. Last month, he got his first, bad owie. He was playing in the bathroom, when I heard a loud *THUMP* and crying. He had fallen into the tub and landed (rather hard) on his head. He ended up with this lovely goose egg:

Just recently, he was once again playing in the bathroom (I really need to keep that door shut...because besides the occassional injury is the whole splashing in the toilet water) and he pulled a basket of lotions down on top of his head. He got this scratch on his cute little face, as well as one on his arm.
Then, just a day or two later, came the worst of them. I had been playing the piano and left the bench out. He came around on the inside of the bench, stood up, and pushed it over. In doing this, he fell over and went face first onto the piano leg. He got a fat lip and bloody nose. These pictures don't really do it justice. It looked awful and I felt so bad for my sweet baby.Unfortunately, I know this is only the beginning. Already he is such a BOY and daredevil. He dives head first off of the couch and bed, lunges forward in the pool causing his face to be submerged, crawls head first down stairs, and leans dangerously to the sides and back while on top of Daddy's shoulders. All of this is done with no fear. I dare say we are in for a bumpy ride!

Sounds like Noah. Taking him to the dr for his appointments I was afraid they were going to call CPS from all the bruises he gets. They think they are indistructable!

Poor kiddo!! I remember that phase with Weston, when he was still learning to walk. He ALWAYS had owies on his forehead and/or his nose!
