Santa Clause and Christmas Lights

I heard a lot of good things about the Christmas lights and Santa Clause down at the Shops at Riverwoods. So we decided to check it out one evening. It is beautiful! And what is even better, is that there weren't a lot of people there. It was nice to just walk around, enjoy the ambiance and be able to take pictures without dealing with crowds.

We saw our friends, Eric and Laura there with their kids. Eric took a carriage ride with Amos and Maggie while Laura waited with baby Audrey.

Owen saying high to the big clydesdale horses:Waiting to see Santa Clause. There were only about three people in line ahead of us. It was awesome that we didn't have to wait too long out in the cold.

Owen didn't cry one bit. He seemed more interested in Santa's beard and long hair.

After walking around and visiting Santa, we went to dinner at Bajio's. Owen was a big boy and sat in a high chair for the first time. We ended up putting Miles's jacket around him for a little more support, but I think he enjoyed sitting up with us.It was a really fun evening. I'm so glad we went and were able to get Owen's first pictures with Santa. It was nice to go out and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
