Ruth's Chris Reprise

For Miles' pre-30th birthday celebration, we went out to Ruth's Chris. Our good friends Braden and Haley were in town, so we invited them to come along. When we arrived, we were greeted by this card:

We were there early enough that we were able to get their dinner special they only offer until 7PM. It was a great deal because it included a salad, main dish, side and dessert. The sides were supposed to be smaller portions, but they messed up when doing them and brought us all normal sized portions of each side. It was awesome because there was plenty to share around. In fact, we couldn't even finish it all it was so much. Here is a picture of my steak along with our green beans w/ garlic (yum), au gratin potatoes (decent), sauteed mushrooms (ok), creamed spinach (ok), and sweet potato casserole (to die for).

Our wonderful friends whom we miss dearly:

For dessert, Miles got the dessert his meal came with PLUS a complimentary dessert since it was his birthday. We had five desserts among the four of us, and again could not finish them. They were all super delicious, although the apple pie type dessert (while good) just couldn't stand up to the chocolate ones or the berries and cream.

It was an awesome dinner with even better company. Afterwards, we decided to go for a walk over to the new City Creek Shopping area. Braden and Haley had never been, and it really is nice to see.

Once this pregnant woman was about done walking (especially having just been released from bed rest) and the Molyneuxs decided it was time to get back to their little ones, we headed back to our cars and said our farewells. It was a really fun evening and good to spend more time with our friends.
